This classic oversized plaid, often seen in lodge-inspired decor, is reinterpreted here in soft cotton yarn and a lighter brighter palette. Classic clean colors crossed with pure white give a fresh take to this traditional oversized plaid. Made on antique looms in Maine, these classic American-made blankets are wonderfully soft and cozy.
The Gingham XL Check Blanket is woven on antique looms at one of Maine’s historic textile mills. After many years of carrying on Maine’s proud textile traditions, the owners of the mill are retiring. Swans Island is pleased to offer a range of their lovely, timeless blankets and throws.
