Whitecaps Throws were inspired by bits of frothy foam atop the windswept waters of Maine’s Penobscot Bay. Each unique handwoven throw features strands of pure wool roving scattered against a sea of hand-dyed merino wool. The artisan weavers at Swans Island place every “whitecap” in by hand as the weaving progresses on the loom, making each throw slightly different. Our signature weaver’s mark gives this hand-dyed and handwoven throw exclusive Swans Island panache.
Content: 100% organic Merino wool. 100% Silk Trim.
Origin: Made in the USA. Handwoven in our Maine studio.
Dimensions: Throw 50″W x 70″L.

Care: Professionally dry clean, or send to our blanket hospital for cleaning and repair.
Packaging: Each throw comes in our linen-covered presentation gift box.
Customization: Throws can be customized with a hand-embroidered monogram or date.
