Our exclusive Firefly blankets are woven by hand in our Northport studios using organic Merino wool. Woven on antique looms using our own unique resist-dyed Firefly Yarn, these blankets have a stunning visual texture and incredibly cozy feel. This soft organic merino wool has undyed flecks of pure ivory that stand out against the rich, dark background colors. It reminds us of fireflies twinkling against a summer night sky. Mulberry silk bindings are woven right into the cloth. Each blanket is finished with our signature weaver's mark—the sign of an authentic handwoven Swans Island blanket.

Due to the width of our antique looms, on king size blankets stripe patterning is oriented vertically with silk edges at left and right.
On single, double, and queen size blanket stripe patterning is oriented horizontally with silk edges at top and bottom.
