When College of the Atlantic wanted to make an impression on the donors to their endowment campaign, they approached Swans Island. Incorporating fleece from the sheep raised at the College’s agriculture training farm in Bar Harbor, we spun, dyed and wove a 100% wool blanket that was given to each donor as a token of appreciation. We created a unique blanket for this occasion presented in a linen bag with the COA logo stitched to the front.
College of the Atlantic recently commissioned custom blankets to give as appreciation gifts to our generous supporters. We felt the blanket would be such a unique and special gift. The response has been extraordinary.
