Katahdin Blanket Capes are a graceful and versatile compliment to every wardrobe. With an exquisite drape and five unique, hand-dyed colorways to choose from, Katahdin Capes let you wear your favorite blanket everywhere you go! Generously proportioned, cozy and soft, this cape is slightly larger than our other capes. We make these unique blanket capes in our Maine studio. First, we hand-dye our softest organic merino wool using all-natural dyes. Then, working on antique looms, our weavers skillfully craft each piece. No two capes are exactly the same. Woven (not cut!) selvedge edges and our weaver's mark in the front corner are the signs of an authentic handwoven Swans Island cape.
