Whitecaps Throws were inspired by bits of frothy foam atop the windswept waters of Maine's Penobscot Bay. Each unique handwoven throw features strands of pure wool roving scattered against a sea of hand-dyed merino wool. The artisan weavers at Swans Island place every "whitecap" in by hand as the weaving progresses on the loom, making each throw slightly different. Our signature weaver's mark gives this hand-dyed and handwoven throw exclusive Swans Island panache.
