Upcycled Acadia Patchwork Throws

Product Description

Up-cycled Acadia Patchwork Throws feature richly hand-dyed bands of color stitched together.  Our expert seamstresses piece together off-cuts from our Acadia blankets to create these lovely patchwork throws.  Each seam is expertly top-stitched so their impeccable handiwork remains visible.  We are always seeking creative ways to repurpose cloth remnants that would otherwise go into a landfill. Add a graphic statement to your home while supporting sustainable practices.

Made in Maine with our own certified organic EcoWash® Merino wool and organic American cotton, these Acadia Patchwork throws are breathable yet cozy.  The soft merino wool yarn is treated with a natural enzyme that prohibits felting, so these throws can be gently washed at home. We hand-dye the yarn in our Northport studio and then have it woven by a small mill in Maine. 100% Made in Maine. We also make up-cycled throws in Rangeley and Penobscot versions.
