Product Description

Our exclusive Firefly blankets are woven by hand in our Northport studios using organic Merino wool. Woven on antique looms using our own unique resist-dyed Firefly Yarn, these blankets have a stunning visual texture and incredibly cozy feel. This soft organic merino wool has undyed flecks of pure ivory that stand out against the rich, dark background colors. It reminds us of fireflies twinkling against a summer night sky.  Mulberry silk bindings are woven right into the cloth. Each blanket is finished with our signature weaver’s mark—the sign of an authentic handwoven Swans Island blanket.

  • On single, double, and queen size blanket patterning is oriented horizontally with silk edges at top and bottom.
  • Each handwoven product is one of a kind. Due to the unique nature of all-natural, hand-dyed and custom-spun yarns, there may be slight variations from what is shown here.
  • Colors of handwoven items may vary slightly due to dye lot variables as well as computer monitor variations.
